Zaiya - Andy Warhol Style ArtAt Knighton Normal School we offer many cultural opportunities for our children to explore within the Arts. Music, drama, visual art and dance is incorporated into classroom programmes to link to learning programmes within each learning space.
We have many teachers with interests and passions for the arts. This means we offer many other opportunities outside of classroom programmes. The extra opt-in experiences we have running in our lunch breaks for students include:

We run an odd and even year arts event schedule incorporating school-wide events and giving children the chance to share their learning and progress in the Arts, some of these events include:
Junior, Middle and Senior school productions
Whaanau Arts Extravaganza - sharing all our arts with our community
Knighton’s Got Talent
The Kids Sing event for our choir
Cultural Celebration performances
Wearable Arts
Music House music concerts
Lunchtime/assembly drama performances
We love the arts, and we love seeing our tamariki blossom, shine and take flight. For some this is their strength, and we hope to help them discover and grow it.
